Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Manual Lymphatic Drainage, or MLD, is a type of massage that's designed to reduce swelling and detoxify through promoting the movement of lymphatic fluid from swollen areas into the appropriate lymph nodes. It's generally recommended for post-surgical clients or those with fluid buildup in specific areas of the body. The touch is light and superficial, incorporating gentle, rhythmic stokes that stimulate the lymphatic system and encourage the movement of lymphatic fluid to be properly processed in the body.
